Raised $1M+ on Solana under 10 minutes
Co-founded an NFT venture. Led design and brand. Sold out the entire collection.
Overview
I co-founded a Solana-based NFT venture at the intersection of NFTs and GameFi. What started as a conversation turned into a full venture: brand, community, product, team, all built from scratch.
A few months in, we launched a collection that sold out completely, raising over $1M in under 10 minutes.
Impact
Established a recognizable NFT/GameFi brand within the Solana ecosystem.
United investors, influencers, players, and NFT enthusiasts into an active community.
Reached full mint success in under 10 minutes, generating over $1M in sales.

PART 1: PRE-MINT
Goal
Launch an NFT collection at the intersection of NFTs and GameFi. Build a loyal community, create a distinct brand, and deliver on-chain entertainment with lasting value.
Challenges & Solutions
Why Solana: Low fees, fast transactions, and an active gaming/NFT ecosystem. The right chain for a smooth minting experience and scalable game logic.
Design system first: Built a scalable design system early so brand, product, and marketing stayed consistent across every touchpoint.
Brand as differentiator: Created a cohesive identity across all channels. Recognizable, consistent, memorable. Grounded in timeless brand principles (22 Immutable Laws of Branding).
Timing the market: Launched during peak Web3 buzz. Used market signals to time the mint, driving urgency and capturing attention at the right moment.
Building the team from zero: Recruited across three specialized sub-teams. Tech handled backend, architecture, and smart contracts. Design owned brand and product. Distribution focused on growth, community, and relationships.
PART 2: MINT DAY
Execution Strategy
The mint day plan was built for chaos: clear roles, real-time comms, and systems ready for unexpected demand.
What happened
Traffic blew past projections: The tech team handled the surge cleanly. Infrastructure held.
Community stayed engaged: We kept Twitter and Discord active with live updates and support throughout the mint. Real-time presence built trust and kept momentum through to sellout.
PART 3: POST MINT
What came next
After the mint, we shifted focus to building the GameFi product on top of the NFTs. Added utility for holders, launched new collections, explored collaborations, and shipped features to strengthen the community long-term.
Challenges
Sustaining momentum: In NFTs, skip a beat and the community fades. We stayed visible through events, influencer partnerships, and consistent activity.
Scaling the team: Finding people who understood both the niche skills and the evolving Web3 landscape took time. We recruited through personal networks and web3 communities, building a team that fueled product growth and design output.
Conclusion
Raising $1M+ was the milestone. But the harder thing was everything around it: building a brand that people trusted before the mint, a team that executed under pressure, and a product that kept the community engaged after the hype faded. Design and branding weren't support functions on this project. They were the primary drivers of traction.
