Reached Finals of UX World Championship

Global top 10. Represented India. Won a fully sponsored trip to Europe.

Overview

In 2016, I entered the UX World Championship, organized by the World Usability Congress. It was a global showcase of UX process: entrants competed by solving a real design challenge set by the organizers.

The challenge was to reimagine the in-store shopping experience by bridging offline and online retail. I submitted a full research-driven project, covering needfinding, user personas, affinity mapping, and a final design proposal, all within the competition's constraints.

I finished in the global top 10 and competed in the finals in Graz, Austria. The trip was fully sponsored, covering travel, accommodation, and conference attendance.

Impact

  • Placed global top 10, representing India against UX designers worldwide.

  • Advanced to the finals in Graz, Austria, competing among the world's strongest UX practitioners.

  • Won a fully sponsored trip to Europe, covering travel, accommodation, and conference attendance.
